A Beautiful City of Antalya

Antalya is located on the Mediterranean coast of south-west Turkey, bordered by the Taurus mountains, making it the ideal place for nature lovers from all over the world.

Considered as one of the most popular worldwide destinations due to is captivating nature, luxury hotels and resorts and moderate cost of living. Antalya is a gulfing capital of Turkey. Its nickname is “Paradise on earth|” which was given by Pergamon Attalus the 2nd.

The population of the city is 2.4 million. Number of tourists in 2018 was 14 million. To put this in perspective 2.4 million inhabitants are welcoming 14 million tourists which shows the extent of service facilities of hotels, entertainment venues and beaches causing the increase of tourism year by year. 

Antalya is divided into 3 parts: Kepez, Konyallti, Murat Pasa.

Kepez

Kepez occupies the northern part of Antalya and the largest in size. Also the furthest area away from the coast with distance ranging from 2.5 kms up to 12 kms. Recognized more as a residential neighborhood rather than a touristic. There are lots of shopping outlets located here: Ozdilek Mall, Mall of Antalya, Deepo Mall, Agora Mall, Erasta Mall (open air mall).

Konyaalti

The second district is in the western part of Antalya which is Konyaalti. Konyaalti has a famous beach on the Mediterranean coast which stretches for 7 km, the longest public beach in this district.

There are lots of activities you can do in Konyaalti. You can visit the Aquarium which has the longest tunnel in the world, dolphin park, shopping centers, Luna park, cable cars. And in the winter you can ski on Taurus Mountains, it only takes1 hour drive away.

There is a famous beach park in Konyaalti. Area is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, basketball, tennis courts, area for skating even playground for pets.5 kms further you will reach to the cable cars. The height is 2365 meters, at the peak point you can enjoy the view from 360 degree angle.

Public transportation is available and easily accessible to all. International universities, public and private schools offer a high educational level.

Muratpasa

The 3rd district is split into 2 sectors: the old sector and the new sector.

The old sector contains areas like Kaleici, open market, bazaars and the largest shopping center-Mark Antalya Mall, in addition to the old marina they also offer sea cruises on a yacht.

The new and sector is called Lara. What differentiates Lara from the old sector is its modern buildings and shopping centers like Laura mall, Shemall, Terra city mall. Along the coastline you will find public parks, kids playground, bicycle and waking routes, basketball courts and family gathering areas.

Antalya attracts people from all around the world not just to visit but also to live. With its beauty, history, weather, nature, mountains, sea, Antalya has become number one destination for property purchases by foreigners in 2017.
