The twin city agreement has been signed and ratified between the Turkish city of Antalya and the American city of Miami

The city twin ship agreement was signed by the Antalya Governor Menderes Türel and his counterpart Tomás Regalado in Miami.

The signing was held at a reception in Miami and was attended by several representatives from the Turkish and American communities in addition to the Turkish Consul General in Miami Özgür Altin.

Both officials held short speeches congratulating the attendees and exchanging gifts celebrating the signing of the agreement.

Both municipal councils in their respected cities have approved the project of the twin city partnership.

The agreement between Antalya and Miami - the two tourism giants – is being hailed as means for improving and fostering commerce, tourism, and education between the two cities.
