The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) showed its latest report on electricity prices

Sweden was the most expensive in Europe at 12.1 euros per 100 kilowatt-hours of domestic gas.
It was followed by Denmark with 8.1 euros, Portugal with 7.7 euros, the Netherlands with 7.6 euros, and Italy with 7 euros.
According to the report, Turkey ranked the second cheapest country in electricity prices among 27 European countries,
The price of every 100 kilowatt-hours of household electricity was 10.5 euros in the second quarter of 2017.
While the average rate in Europe during the same period was about 20.4 euros.
Energy prices for domestic use in Turkey are relatively cheap, not only in comparison with the European Union countries.
It is considered the cheapest compared to many neighboring countries, including the Arab ones, and this encourages many families.
Especially those coming from Arab countries to take the decision to settle within cities of peace and tranquility, which are characterized by the cheapest prices of living.
